Aquarium clean-up crew
You will receive 25+ ramshorn snails of assorted size and color. (pink, blue, red, brown) I will do my best to include a good variety, but specific colors are not guaranteed.
Your order will ship USPS. Snails are shipped in containers with wet paper towels to keep them moist. They are not fasted before shipping and will often soil the paper towels with an orange stain from the food I use. This is not a concern or problem.
In general, Ramshorn snails are extremely resilient, and it is extremely unlikely for them to die in normal transit times. Almost all losses have been due to postal delays or extreme cold.
On arrival, put your snails in a small glass or bowl of water (cover snails with at least an inch of water) from your aquarium, not your tap. The snails will often have air in their shells at first, causing them to float and need time to recover. Sinking food will entice them to revive faster.
Possibly use as feeder snails for turtles, puffers, loaches or others.
*** This offer cannot be combined with other listings for shipping discounts ***
Snails are sold AS IS
. After 1000s of snails successfully shipped, I have been bombarded with questionable claims, taking advantage of the inability to prove if a snail is dead or alive with only a picture. For this reason, there is
NO GUARANTEE
of live arrival.
I wouldn't have 1000s of sales and many repeat customers if I didn't make the best effort possible to provide quality snails and have the ability to get them there alive. I simply do not have the time or inclination to fight with people, some of which are clearly lying.
For the duration of winter, I advise any customers in colder areas to wait for better weather conditions, or choose to order from someone taking more winter precautions for extreme weather conditions. Past deliveries below 45F have reported problems, so be advised of the risk.
(Consideration will be given for extended postal delays beyond 7 days)
