Alkaline Preference:
These shrimps thrive in more alkaline water with a pH of 7-8 but can adapt to a pH range of 6-8.
Optimal Conditions:
I keep my shrimps at a TDS of 200-250, pH of 7-7.8 with the temperature maintained by air conditioner between 70-75°F. Water conditions are checked and maintained weekly for the best results.
Safety Note:
Keep shrimps separate from certain species of fish that may eat them, such as Betta, Angelfish, and larger Cichlids. Drip acclimate your new shrimp for at least 1 hour or until the TDS matches that of your tank.
Shipping Information:
Secure Packaging:
Shrimp are shipped in breather bags with live aquatic plants for nourishment and shelter during transit. The insulated box ensures their safety, but please track your package and bring it indoors promptly.
USPS Priority Mail:
I ship only within the United States via USPS Priority Mail (2–3-day shipping). Orders are dispatched on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. If the weather conditions or other circumstances do not allow for shipment, I will postpone the shipment and discuss with you.
DOA Guarantee:
In the rare event of any dead on arrival (DOA) shrimp, I offer replacements with photo proof. Please provide one photo of the dead shrimp in the unopened original packaging next to the label and two other photos of the dead shrimp in the packaging so I can diagnose the situation and improve my shipping methods. Additional shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility.
