Triumph Triton-Norton Dominator 99 Wideline frame, early 1980's T140, 750cc Triumph engine, Engine No. T140ES 3CM 030999, five speed gearbox, ten bolt cylinder head, Roadholder forks, Suzuki GT750 4LS brake, Triumph conical rear hub, Morad aluminum rims w/SS spokes, Avon tires/tubes, hand formed aluminum gas (Lyta style) and oil tank, Converta engine plates, Unity Equipe fork yokes/triple clamps, Hagon shocks. Frame paint is Polyurethane over epoxy primer. Balanced crankshaft assy. Extensive engine overhaul including crankshaft balancing and new: Johnson J380/268 cams (flat track grind), Cylinders bored +.040", new piston assys, crankshaft bearings, gearbox bearings, shift forks, cam plate, stator/rotor, electronic ignition, ignition coils, JRC-30E carburetors and cables, Barnett clutch plates, clutch cable, tachometer and speedometer and drive cables, Kibblewhite pushrods, pushrod tubes, tappet blocks-late style, valves and springs, primary chain, Commando K&N air filter and oil filter, and more. New chassis parts: Side stand, front and rear brake shoes, swan neck clip-ons, aluminum fenders, front brake torque arms, Unity Equipe exhaust pipes and megaphone mufflers, fork springs, twist grip, drive chain, gas tank, oil tank, swingarm chain adjust screws, tank rubbers, and battery. Wideline Manx seat is not new-has a bit of character. I built the tanks. I was a student of Evan Wilcox. Tanks are not "perfect", but pretty darn nice. Bike currently has 440 miles on the odometer and runs really well, barely broken in. This is not a "concours" bike. I don't even know what "concours" is/are. This is a rider. It needs to be out there doing what Tritons do. Frame has underside bosses welded in for the lower engine case through-bolt and has a very good head steady. These are important. Wideline frame is a 1958 Norton Dominator 99. T140 engine originally had a left side gear shift but has been changed back to right side shifting. Machined plugs were installed in the engine to plug the left side gear shift mechanism holes to facilitate the changeover. Some hardware is US Aircraft AN as I was an A&P (aircraft) mechanic and had lots of AN hardware in the shop. Nice bike, certainly not perfection, but really decent. You couldn't build it for the price. I am seventy one years old and have too many bikes to ride-bummer! I love this bike but someone needs to give it a good home and ride it.
