    Description

This bike is a rare 1963 Triumph Tiger Cub Scrambler Factory Works Replica. It is one of only 367 manufactured from 1962 thru 1965. This rare item can be identified by the model designation "TS20" which is seen on the engine serial number. The TS20 is not to be confused with other Triumph Cubs with the "T20S" or similar model numbers which were sold in greater numbers. When Triumph initially distributed this model in 1962 it was described as a "Works Replica" and was presented as close to the machines used by factory riders. The engine and frame have matching numbers as can be seen in the pictures. The bike has an Electrex (made in UK) electronic ignition. It usually starts with 2 or 3 kicks. Although the bike is fairly original, some replacement items include; the Wassell seat (made in the UK) which is the same style as the original, the exhaust pipe and extension, the handlebars, and tank knee pads. It also has a new throttle cable and Viton tip float needle. The rims are "Dunlop-Made in England" and the tires are also "Dunlop-Made in England". The tires have plenty of tread but also have weather cracking from age. The rims have some light surface rust and the front rim appears to have a ding that does not affect the performance. The gas tank paint has some chips, a blemish near the gas, and a hard to notice dimple at the rear of the tank upper surface. The fenders/mudguards are aluminum alloy. Mileage is unknown as as this model did not have a speedometer.  The bike has been in my collection for the last six years. I have put very few (back yard) miles on  it.  As a competition bike, it will come with a bill of sale but not a title. Please review the pictures and ask questions before bidding. Buyer is responsible for local pickup or arranging shipping. No warranty is given or implied. Please do not bid if you do not intend to pay.  Thanks for looking.
