Up for your consideration is this  great looking vintage picnic basket.  I bought it from the estate of an elderly gentleman who told me it was bought by his granfather in the late 1940's or early 1950's.  It could be a bit older.  It is in excellent condition. Very sturdy and roomy.  It measures 14 inches by 11 & 1/2 inches by 9 inches tall.  It has its original brass hinges and opens and closes with no side to side  play.  It would also make a great market basket, quite roomy.
I am selling this very cool picnic basket with no reserve, buyer to pay actual shipping only.  Please ask any questions you might have and I will be more than happy to answer.
