  • Condition: Excellent condition. To be conservative I am going to say it's an 8/10 but it's really closer to a 9/10. Since Willy Hermann serviced the unit in August of 2017, I have used the unit one hour per month in order to keep the moving parts lubricated properly. After Willy serviced it, I never intended to use it. I just wanted it updated properly to enhance its value and because I know that Willy will have to retire one day and it will be too late. I am a collector of many fine audio components that I rarely use. The Nakamichi has been one of those.

    You simply cannot find a better Nakamichi Dragon deal than this one. The bonus wand demagnitizer and sealed Sony Metal-SR cassettes, and the Eric Clapton Unplugged cassette, are great bonus items that no other seller would even think of providing. Also, don't be fooled by sellers who say a Dragon is "MINT". This one is as close to mint as possible, but there is not a Dragon on the planet Earth that is "MINT". The units were made from 1982-1993, so "MINT" is impossible. This unit is in excellent working order and is ready for decades of constant use. Owner's manual printout is included. I do not have the original box, but trust me when I say the packaging will be excellent.
