    Description

    Up for auction is a vintage Sears Solid State Cassette Recorder Player Model 564.21610150 W/ Manual & Box.  This can be used with AC power cord, auto DC cord, or 4 size C batteries.  No power cords or batteries are included.
    This was tested using 4 size C batteries (not included) and appears to be working.  The F.FWD button does not stay down when pressed, but when held down does fast forward the tape.  I am unsure if this is by design as page 3 of the manual does provided instructions that state that when pressing the F.FWD button the tape will “quickly wind until the button is released.”   Aside from being unsure about this, each of the buttons were tested and seemed to be working well.  Please view photos for additional information regarding the condition of this item.
