VTG Abercrombie & Fitch NY Wicker Picnic Basket w/ Coracle Bandalasta / Dixon

Description

This is an incredibly attractive picnic basket.  So classic in the color, form and texture.  Would make a great display item.
Retailed by Abercrombie & Fitch in their NYC store, yet made in England.  Cups and boxes are by Coracle and silverware by Dixon. All top quality.
Coming from the estate of a long time antiques dealer.  Probably from a wealthy local estate.
Condition:  Really more for display than use.  Leather has been conditioned, but was very dry when found.  One outer strap missing.  Straps that hold plates are complete, but fragile.  Leather that holds spoons in top left corner is separated, so spoons are just propped there for photos, can not be held in place if carried.  The leather that holds other utensils is very tight.  Normal amount of wear to accessories.  Great for display.  Wonderful colors.
